Vintage Juliana Equestrian Fox Hunting Lucite Charm Necklace Book Piece IIJJ#2846

This is a wonderful vintage Juliana (DeLizza & Elster) equestrian charm necklace dating to 1979.

The gold-tone link necklace is decorated with a lively assortment of fox-hunting and riding motifs, including riding helmets with crossed crops, tall riding boots, and colorful Lucite cabochon charms. The Lucite accents appear in rich red, amber, blue and green tones, with several larger deep amber-red cabochons adding extra color and dimension to the design.

The repeated riding helmets, boots and crops give the necklace a wonderfully recognizable equestrian theme while the dangling charms create movement all around the neckline. It is an especially appealing design for both Juliana collectors and collectors of vintage horse and fox-hunting jewelry.

This necklace has excellent collector documentation. The design appears in Juliana Jewelry – The Last Generation on page 217. It is also connected to material from Frank DeLizza’s records, with the design dating to 1979.
