This vintage Juliana (DeLizza & Elster) figural butterfly brooch combines topaz, vivid orange and pale yellow rhinestones in a strikingly dimensional design. Raised wings lift away from the body, giving the butterfly a sculptural profile that is especially clear in the angled photograph.
Topaz chatons outline the openwork wings, while navette, pear-shaped and rectangular baguette rhinestones create the interior pattern. Small green chatons add contrast, and aurora borealis rhinestones tip the wire antennae. Gold-tone settings complete the warm color palette.
