This dramatic vintage Regency brooch combines a lush arrangement of blue rhinestones with luminous, molded iridescent glass leaves. Faceted blue marquise-shaped rhinestones and flashes of aurora borealis (AB) are layered around intricately molded leaf-shaped stones that reflect shades of blue, aqua, lavender and green. The dark metal settings create striking contrast and give the design its characteristic Regency depth.
At a substantial 3 × 2.7 inches, the brooch has an elegant, leafy branch silhouette, with small rectangular blue rhinestones forming the stem. Its raised construction creates beautiful dimension when worn.

Condition
Nice vintage condition overall. The rhinestones and molded leaf-shaped stones display very well, with attractive color and sparkle. The back shows wear and loss to the darkened metal finish, often seen on Regency pieces of this type. The reverse is photographed clearly so you can evaluate the wear.
