This striking vintage Juliana (DeLizza & Elster) choker-style collar necklace features sculptural gold-tone cast openwork that sweeps gracefully from a molded and painted red oval cabochon. Multiple strands of textured gold-tone chain form a close-to-the-neck dog collar style, finished with the familiar dangling Juliana heart charm.
A slight variation on this necklace is illustrated on page 31 of Juliana Jewelry – The Last Generation, co-authored by Karla Wacker and Paula Knutson.
