A spectacular vintage Juliana (DeLizza & Elster) butterfly brooch featuring an unusually elaborate combination of pink, fuchsia, amethyst, blue and teal rhinestones set in gold-tone metal.

The butterfly's four wings are completely edged in rhinestone chaining, creating a sparkling outline around the entire silhouette. Inside the wings, an intricate arrangement of closed-back navette and chaton rhinestones builds layers of vivid color, with rich fuchsia and amethyst balanced by bright blue and teal accents.

The construction offers several classic DeLizza & Elster details collectors look for, including figure-eights, a small central support ring, and the extensive rhinestone chaining used to define the wings.
