Sky-blue sparkle meets sculptural gold-tone metalwork in these large vintage Juliana (DeLizza & Elster) caged rhinestone clip earrings. Each round top suspends a pear-shaped drop, with textured, bead-like metal bands arching across the faceted stones to create the distinctive dimensional cage design. The linked drops add movement to their substantial 2.5-inch length.

Offered in new old stock, unworn condition, this pair retains its original black card marked ATELIER II Accessories. The earring design is identified in the IsItJulianaJewelry database as IIJJ#8519. The card is included with the earrings.

Book Documentation

The caged-stone design family is discussed in Juliana Jewelry - The Last Generation by Paula Knutson and Karla Wacker, printed page 40. That section illustrates related green and white caged earrings and a black caged brooch, dates the group to the mid-1980s, and refers readers to page 152 of Frank DeLizza’s Memoirs of a Fashion Jewelry Manufacturer. This is a reference to the design family, not a claim that the offered sky-blue pair is the pair photographed in the book.
