Vintage Crown Trifari 1954 Carousel Red Baguette Rhinestone 4-Piece Parure Alfred Philippe
A fabulous and collectible complete four-piece Crown Trifari “Carousel” parure dating to 1954 and designed by renowned Trifari designer Alfred Philippe.
This striking mid-century set combines sweeping open ribbon-like curves with rich ruby-red baguette rhinestones set into gleaming gold-tone Trifanium. The wonderful sense of movement in the design carries through all four matching pieces.
The complete parure includes the necklace, articulated bracelet, bow-form brooch and matching clip earrings. Finding the entire coordinated set together is increasingly difficult.
The Carousel collection was featured in Trifari’s 1954 advertising. The necklace design was patented by Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel under Design Patent D173,382, with related Carousel brooch and earring designs documented under D173,087.

Condition
Excellent vintage condition overall with bright ruby-red rhinestones and very attractive gold-tone finish. There is slight discoloration/finish wear at the attachment area of one earring back, shown in the close-up photographs. Otherwise the set presents beautifully. Please review all photographs as they are part of the condition description.
A particularly desirable opportunity to acquire the complete 1954 Trifari Carousel parure rather than assembling the pieces individually.
