Vintage West Germany Atomic Starburst Plastic Necklace Bracelet Earrings Set NOS

A fabulous new old stock West Germany jewelry set featuring clear plastic clusters with a wonderful atomic starburst or snowflake-like design. The dimensional spiky clusters have a distinctly mid-century look that brings to mind Sputnik-era atomic jewelry while still having an icy snowflake quality.

The set includes a long necklace, stretch bracelet and matching clip earrings. Even better, the pieces retain their original West Germany tags and vintage Goldblatt’s store tags, giving this set wonderful period character and provenance.

The necklace measures approximately 24 inches long. The stretch bracelet measures approximately 8 inches long, and the clip earrings measure approximately 1.25 inches.

All pieces are NOS (new old stock) and appear never to have been worn. Please note that age has affected the bracelet elastic: the elastic is worn and has very little stretch remaining. It can still be displayed or worn with care, but a buyer wishing to wear it regularly may eventually want to have the bracelet restrung.

A terrific surviving vintage set with its original retail tags—and an especially fun example of the bold, dimensional plastic jewelry produced in West Germany.
