Vintage Juliana White Milk Glass Rhinestone Butterfly Figural Brooch IIJJ#8535

A wonderful vintage Juliana butterfly figural brooch in an especially striking all-white milk glass colorway.

The butterfly is set with white milk glass cabochons in several different shapes, including the large pear-shaped body stone, elongated marquise-style stones and round cabochons. The open upper wings feature distinctive figure-8 construction, an important Juliana construction detail that is especially easy to see from the reverse.

The setting has a warm antiqued gold-tone finish rather than a bright polished gold color. This softer aged finish beautifully complements the opaque white milk glass stones and gives the butterfly wonderful vintage character.
