Vintage Juliana White Milk Glass AB Rhinestone Flower Brooch IIJJ#9348

A beautiful vintage Juliana (DeLizza & Elster) flower brooch combining crisp white milk glass navettes, sparkling aurora borealis rhinestones, and ornate filigree flower petals in a richly dimensional design.

Large white milk glass navettes form the primary petals, arranged in overlapping layers around the center. AB chaton rhinestones encircle the design, adding flashes of pink, blue, green, and gold against the opaque white glass and warm gold-tone setting.

The center is especially interesting, with a round AB rhinestone surrounded by small dimensional filigree flower petals. This same style of decorative filigree petal finding can be seen in a differently designed Juliana brooch illustrated on page 249 of Ann Pitman’s Juliana reference book. That documented design dates to 1963, providing a useful comparison for this distinctive D&E component.

Measuring approximately 2 inches, this brooch packs considerable detail and dimension into a relatively compact floral design. The combination of opaque milk glass, brilliant AB stones, and intricate gold-tone filigree gives it an especially elegant look.
