Vintage Juliana Moroccan Matrix Elephant Necklace or Belt Earrings Figural Set IIJJ#182

This fabulous vintage Juliana set is as versatile as it is unusual. The long articulated piece can be worn as a dramatic necklace or as a belt, and it is accompanied by matching elephant earrings.

The gold-tone design combines a substantial book chain with an ornate articulated decorative section accented by dangling elephants, Moroccan Matrix turquoise painted cabochons, and ivory-colored ball drops. These elephant-on-ball components were first found in the collection of Mr. DeLizza, giving the design an especially interesting connection to DeLizza & Elster history.

Worn as a necklace, the long chain allows the piece to be adjusted shorter as desired. Worn as a belt, the decorative section spans the front while the chain wraps around the body for an entirely different look.

The matching elephant earrings have combination clip/screw backs, allowing the pressure to be adjusted for comfort.
