Vintage Juliana Clear AB Crystal Rhinestone Necklace Earrings Set IIJJ#9390

A glamorous vintage Juliana (DeLizza & Elster) necklace and matching chandelier earring set combining brilliant clear rhinestones with shimmering Aurora Borealis crystal beads in an unusually elaborate construction.

The necklace features a flowing fringe of faceted AB crystal beads suspended from clear rhinestone sections. One of the most interesting details is the extensive use of square wire throughout the design. Square wire forms the bead hangers as well as the small hook-like supports that flow over the top of the necklace, creating a wonderfully dimensional effect. The upper elements are soldered, while the lower elements are riveted, giving the necklace a fascinating combination of Juliana construction techniques.

The matching chandelier earrings repeat the clear rhinestone and AB crystal bead design. They feature combination screw/clip backs, allowing the tension to be adjusted for a secure fit.
