Vintage Regency blue and AB rhinestone brooch with molded glass leaves

Identification

This vintage costume-jewelry brooch is signed REGENCY on the reverse. The design combines sculptural, molded iridescent glass leaves with faceted blue and Aurora Borealis (AB) rhinestones.

Materials and Construction

Blue faceted marquise and rectangular rhinestones and iridescent AB stones are layered around molded leaf-shaped glass components with blue, green, lavender and aqua reflections. The raised, branch-shaped arrangement sits in dark metal settings and has a pin clasp on the reverse.

Size and Condition

Approximately 3 × 2.7 inches. Rhinestones and molded glass leaves display very nicely. There is finish loss, mottling and age-related wear to the back of the metal setting, visible in the original back photograph. Please use all original photographs to evaluate the condition of this exact piece.
