Juliana peridot green molded-glass leaf cufflinks

A peridot-green molded-glass leaf fills the face of each Juliana cufflink. Curved veins catch flashes of pink and blue across the iridescent surface, and two round aurora borealis rhinestones sit at the base of each leaf. The gold-tone settings are open behind the leaves. One hinged swivel bar is stamped PAT. PEND.

Collectors may recognize this same glass leaf in documented Juliana brooches, earrings, and bracelets. These cufflinks are pictured alongside those designs in Juliana Cufflinks: Part of the Bigger Picture.

On page 36 of Memoirs of a Fashion Jewelry Manufacturer, Frank DeLizza recalls demand for women’s cufflinks and the company’s production of them in the mid-1950s. The date of this particular leaf design is still unknown.

Each face measures approximately 1 × 0.7 inches. The pair is in nice vintage condition. Documented in the IsItJulianaJewelry (IIJJ) database as IIJJ#9804.
