DEC Marked Jewelry — DeLizza & Elster Designs

This special collection features vintage jewelry marked DEC and documented as designs by DeLizza & Elster, the creators of Juliana jewelry. Frank DeLizza explained that these pieces were designed by D&E and that the original molds were made by the company, but the finished jewelry was manufactured elsewhere.

The meaning of the DEC mark itself has never been documented. The pieces in this collection include some of the wonderfully imaginative articulated butterflies and character pendants associated with D&E’s later design work.
